Left my house at 6am. I took the first shift but in hindsight I could’ve slept while Josh drove because he couldn’t stop talking from the excitement. We were all excited, some of us just show it differently. Josiah took the next shift after our first stop.
Buccees.
For two of us it was the first time. It’s something of a Mecca for road-trippers I think. We got burritos and an assortment of snacks. Our next stop was also Buccees, only 55 minutes after the first. One pound of mesquite jerky cost thirty five dollars.
Driving through St Louis right now at 7:33pm local time. We should reach Denver by 7am.
